LANG Technik announces partnership with KTM Kosak Racing Team

The workholding and automation expert from Holzmaden announces its partnership with KTM Kosak Racing Team, which competes in various national and international motocross racing series.

Precision and performance in the world of motorsport

What connects motocross and the machining industry? More than you might think at first glance. In fact, some of the most important components for the bikes in the world's biggest racing series are manufactured in German machine shops. This is where complex components are designed and perfected. Performance and comfort play a decisive role on the race tracks when it comes to victories and podium places. High-precision machine tools that meet the high demands of motorsport are essential for this. When talking about reliable clamping systems, which are also of fundamental importance in this production process, there is no getting around LANG Technik, in particular the Makro•Grip® 5-Axis Vise. Its technical and physical features enable manufacturing companies and their high-quality racing components to be produced with painstaking precision that can withstand the extreme stresses of the race track. LANG Technik is proud to have been supporting racing customers for many years and is now also supporting the Kosak KTM Racing Team with immediate effect.

LANG Technik and its ties to motocross

The fact that the links between LANG Technik and motorsport go far beyond manufacturing is primarily due to Managing Director Günter Lang, who once actively raced motocross himself. His passion for horsepower and gasoline, as well as his contacts in racing, never waned. He still regularly attends motocross events and is there live at the race track. His long-standing acquaintance with Herbert Kosak, a true veteran of German motocross racing, finally got the partnership rolling. At the end of 2023, LANG Technik agreed with team manager Kevin Gödderz and Sylvia Kosak, daughter of team boss Herbert Kosak, to support the KTM Kosak Racing Team and from now on will be cheering them on week after week when it comes to top positions in the races. The partnership with Kosak therefore goes beyond sponsorship and is a matter close to Günter Lang's heart, allowing him to give something back to racing.

The KTM Kosak Racing Team at the ADAC MX Masters

In addition to the races of the Motocross World Championship MXGP, the ADAC MX Masters - the international German motocross championship - is also an integral part of KTM Kosak's racing calendar.

The ADAC MX Masters is one of the most important motocross racing series in Germany. It is organized by the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC) and consists of a total of eight races, which are held at various locations in Germany throughout the season. The racing series attracts both professional motocross riders and up-and-coming talent and offers exciting races in various classes and age groups. In addition, thanks to its professional organization, the ADAC MX Masters represents an important platform for motocross sport in Germany and contributes to the promotion and development of talent in this sport.

Tom Koch (26), Maximilian Spies (20) and Bradley Mesters (17) are three talented riders under contract to the KTM Kosak Racing Team and will be chasing points and podiums in the ADAC MX Masters. Tom Koch and Maximilian Spies finished second and fifth in last year's race series. Both riders are definitely to be reckoned with again in this year's ADAC MX Masters. At just 17 years of age, Dutch rider Bradley Mesters is a great young talent and is making his debut in the Masters this season.
